Look at this sweet little nest that we found in one of our hanging baskets on the front porch! So, knowing its in a hanging basket, imagine how tiny it really is!
My parents always get nests in their hanging baskets both in the front and the back of the house. We think it's the same family of birds that come back year after year. One day several years ago, I went to check on the baby birds that had hatched. I must have startled them because they flew away! I was so amazed that I was the first one that got to see them take off to flight. They never came back after that.

If it's in a hanging basket on your porch, most likely those are wren eggs. They LOVE to be near people.
